Inspiration for your canvas prints for restaurants

Inspiration for your canvas prints for restaurants

There are many ways to spruce up your eatery, but one of the simplest and most effective is to add some artwork to the walls, which is why we thought we’d recommend some great ideas for choosing canvas prints for restaurants.

Along with a simple splash of paint, canvases of all sizes can add some interest for your customers and give you a reputation as an establishment with good taste!

Which canvas prints to choose?

Choosing appropriate canvas prints for restaurants depends on the style of your decor, the type of food you serve, and the overall atmosphere you’re trying to create for your clients.

Here are a few suggestions that we think work well:

Prints of local sites – these are always popular with restaurants, and it’s often possible to buy generic ones locally, but go the extra mile and commission a photographer to take a series of shots for you. Include important landmarks and exciting night shots, and print them up on A2 canvases for a feature wall.

  • Historic prints – customers love to see images of their town from the past, and it also shows them that you care about the area you live in. Find royalty-free images from archive websites and send them over to us!
  • Use local artists – with a little digging, you’ll be able to find local artists keen to share their work with the world. Focus on digital artists because these translate well onto canvas prints.
  • Abstract art – a popular approach is to use stock sites, such as Adobe Stock, to find a collection of abstract art to add colour and interest to your walls. It’s always a good idea to think of these images as a series or a theme, otherwise they can look random and disjointed.
  • Food-related prints – stock sites are also great for images of food and drink, but, again, why don’t you employ a local photographer to come in and take some photos of the actual food you serve? It shows an attention to detail that’ll set you apart from the competition.
  • Hashtag – if your establishment is quirky and modern, you could play with the ‘hashtag’ phenomenon and print up interesting hashtags onto a canvas. Things like #dessertisforeveryone, #glutenfreehere and #eatyourveggies are informative and fun.

These are just a few of our favourite ideas for canvas prints for restaurants, but with a little imagination and creativity, the sky really is the limit. In fact, canvas prints of the sky would also look great!
