Personal, by calculation
Not any sky. Your sky.
The stars have a place. So does your moment. We calculate the sky; you give it meaning.
The collection
One sky. Six points of view.
A finely drawn atlas. A luminous Moon. A sky you remember. Choose your look; keep your own moment and words.
Six looks. Swipe to explore
Under This Sky

The Moon That Night
A dramatic, textured Moon with the phase and illuminated edge calculated for your chosen moment.
The World Beneath the Stars
Your calculated sky above an artistic curved Earth horizon. A whole world of possibility. A3 or smaller.
The Sky in Focus
The timeless circular star map. Clear, balanced and beautifully personal, with your own words beneath the sky.
The Sky, Remembered
Full-bleed, tree-free skies with five artistic atmospheres: Clear, Mist, Rain, Storm-lit and Sunset.
Your selected look: The Celestial Atlas. Choose a format below, or open the artwork to start designing.
A place. A time. A connection.
What is a star map?
A star map turns a place and moment into a chart of the sky. Choose the date of a first hello, a new arrival or a promise. We calculate the star positions; you choose the artwork and the words that make it yours.
Create Star Map →Personal, by calculation
Three steps. One personal sky.
Your moment and wording stay with you as you explore the collection.
- 01
Choose your moment
Enter the date, local time and place. Time zones and daylight saving are handled for the selected location. Use venue coordinates for a more precise place.
- 02
Choose an artwork
Explore six looks in the creator. Switch between them without losing your place, date or time. In the Atlas, choose the northern sky or the sky above you.
- 03
Make it yours
Choose one of six looks, a colour finish and the words that belong to your story. Preview changes as you create. A new look keeps your chosen place and moment.
Mapped stars may not have been visible to the naked eye in daylight or twilight. Atmospheric treatments, Moon surface detail and Earth scenery are artistic interpretations, not historical weather records or photographs of your location.

Does the star map show the sky from my date and place?
Yes. Star positions are calculated for your selected moment and location. The Atlas has two views: a northern pole-centred chart with your local horizon marked, and a chart centred above you. Stars plotted during daylight or twilight are not a promise of naked-eye visibility.
What if I do not know the exact time?
You can choose an approximate time and explore the preview, but changing the time changes the sky. Use a known local time when you can. For a wedding or birth, check the record or choose a meaningful moment you remember.
Which Star Map Poster and Canvas sizes can I explore?
A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1 are shown with the same base prices as our photo products. Size links preselect the correct format and price in the creator. The World Beneath the Stars is limited to A3 or smaller.
Can I mix Star Maps with other prints for 3 for 2?
The offer applies across qualifying physical Canvas and Poster prints, including Star Maps, photo prints, Collage and Word Art. The cheapest qualifying base print is free; optional extras are separate. Free digital downloads do not qualify.
Is there a free star map download?
Yes. The creator offers a free 2625 × 3500px JPG for supported artwork downloads, with no basket or payment. It is separate from physical print ordering and excluded from 3 for 2.
When would my physical print arrive?
Order before 2pm Monday–Friday for same-day dispatch on our free 24-hour UK delivery service. Most orders arrive the next working day, but courier arrival is not guaranteed.
Can I add my own words?
Yes. Add your own title and personal message in the creator, and preview them with your chosen artwork.
