Behind the print

Canvas Print Quality, From Upload to Finished Print

Good materials matter. So do experienced eyes, careful hands and the decision to check every order before it leaves.

Real production, real care

Your photograph is more than a file in a queue.

We consider the chosen crop, finished size, subject placement and image quality before production. For uploaded digital files, we also check orientation and obvious quality issues, making sensible basic colour or brightness adjustments only where they help the supplied image print well. This is preparation for print, not a restoration service, and some files simply do not contain enough detail to be rescued.

Large-format Epson printing gives us the detail and tonal control; people provide the judgement.

Made in stages

Prepared, printed, checked and hand-finished.

Artwork is prepared for the selected dimensions, printed using professional large-format equipment, then inspected for detail, colour and finish. Canvas orders are stretched and finished by hand before a final check.

Poster orders use smooth 230gsm matt photo paper for a clean surface and crisp photographic detail.
