The same photograph can look quite different on textured canvas and smooth matte paper. Both deserve a good original file and a considered crop. The right choice depends on the photograph, the room and how you want to display it.
Wedding canvas prints
A stretched canvas has a visible side and a woven surface that gives the photograph a more tactile presence. We print on 230gsm poly-cotton canvas, stretch it over solid pine and finish it by hand. The picture can stand on its own without an outer decorative frame.
Choose from the depths and side treatments available for your size in the Canvas Creator. A floating frame is an optional extra where offered, if you would like a wood outline around the canvas.
Wedding photo poster prints
A poster gives your photograph a smooth, low-glare finish on substantial 230gsm matte paper. It is a good choice if you want to use a frame you already own, display a smaller wedding picture, or arrange several photographs behind matching mounts.
Posters are supplied unframed. Choose a standard size or enter the print dimensions you need within the single-photo creator's supported limits. If you are fitting a frame, measure the insert or print space rather than the outside of the moulding.

Start with the moment, then choose the picture.
Look through your wedding photographs once for emotion and again for the practical details. A favourite can make a beautiful print when the expressions are clear, the file holds enough detail and the important people fit the chosen shape.
A couple portrait. Look for a photograph you both enjoy seeing. A quieter expression or shared glance can feel comfortable in a room you use every day.
The people who made the day. Parents, grandparents, children and friends often give a photograph its lasting meaning. For a group picture, keep everyone comfortably inside the front crop and choose a shape that suits the line of people.
An unplanned moment. The best picture for your wall does not have to be the formal one. A spontaneous laugh, an embrace or a moment away from the crowd can bring the day back just as clearly.
If you keep choosing several photographs, a wedding collage canvas can bring them together in one print. A single-photo canvas and a collage are different ways to tell the story.

A full-length portrait often needs more height. A wedding party may need more width. Choose the orientation around the people in the photograph before deciding which size looks best on the wall.
Changing a photograph from a wide rectangle to a square can remove more of the scene than you expect. Canvas sides also need consideration: Gallery wrap carries part of the image around the frame, while Mirror sides use reflected edge content. The shape of the front still determines its crop.
Before ordering, check three things in the preview:
- Faces, hands, bouquets and important dress details remain where you want them on the front.
- The chosen shape gives the people enough space around them.
- The canvas side treatment or poster mount will not distract from what matters.

A wedding print can be a thoughtful thank-you for someone who helped make the day: a parent, a grandparent, a friend. Each print can use a different photograph, so the gift can reflect the relationship rather than repeat the same formal portrait.
Choose three qualifying physical Canvas or Poster prints and the cheapest qualifying base print is free. You can mix eligible photographs, formats and sizes. Frames, hanging kits and applicable supplements remain chargeable; the basket shows the offer for your chosen items.
For three separate qualifying A4 prints, without upgrades:
- Three A4 wedding posters: £17.98, including standard UK delivery.
- Three A4 wedding canvases: £39.98, including standard UK delivery.
The three prints can go to different people, even when they are created as part of the same order. If you need different delivery addresses, contact us before ordering so we can explain the available arrangement.

Made properly, for a photograph that matters.
We have been making personal prints in West Yorkshire since 2007. Your photograph is printed in our workshop on an Epson SC-P20000 using genuine Epson inks. Canvas is stretched over solid pine; posters use our 230gsm matte stock.
A real person considers the file, crop and chosen size before production. That check matters when a dress is close to the edge, a face is small within a group or an image has arrived as a compressed copy. If something looks unsuitable, we will get in touch about the file or a more appropriate size.
We cannot recover detail that was never recorded in a blurred photograph. Starting with your best original gives the print the strongest chance to show the expressions and details you want to keep.

From your wedding gallery to your wall.
- Choose the original photograph. Download the high-resolution print file from your photographer's gallery, or use the original from your phone or camera. Avoid a screenshot of the gallery preview.
- Choose your format, size and crop. Open Canvas or Poster, upload your photograph and inspect the preview. For a single-photo print, you can ask our studio to help position it using the available creator option.
- Review the finished choice. Check the orientation, size, canvas edges where relevant and total price. Add any other prints separately, then review the eligible offer and extras in the basket.

A wedding gift, or an anniversary reminder.
You do not need to wait for a milestone anniversary to print the photograph. It can mark the first year, a new home or a small moment when you want to bring the day back into view.
For a gift, choose a photograph the recipient will enjoy living with and allow time for it to arrive before the occasion. Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday are normally dispatched the same working day when the file is ready for production. Most standard UK orders arrive on the next working day after dispatch; arrival is an estimate, not a guarantee. Bank holidays, address conditions and courier delays can affect the timing.

Choosing your photograph
Can I turn my wedding photos into canvas or poster prints?
Yes. Choose a single photograph and open Canvas or Poster in the existing photo creator. Upload your file, choose a supported size and check the crop and price before ordering. If you want several photographs on one print, use the separate wedding collage creator.
Which wedding photograph should I choose for my wall?
Choose one you enjoy looking at and that feels like the day to you. A couple portrait, a family group or an unplanned moment can all work. Then check whether the file contains enough detail for your chosen size and whether the people fit comfortably within the print shape.
Should I use the original file from my wedding photographer?
Use the highest-resolution print download supplied through your photographer's gallery, and check your package's personal-printing arrangements. A screenshot of the gallery or a small preview can contain much less detail than the original file. If you are unsure which download to use, ask your photographer for the version intended for printing.
Can a wedding photograph taken on a phone make a good print?
It can, when the original file is sharp enough for the size and crop you choose. Use the original from the phone rather than a screenshot or a compressed messaging copy. Low light, motion blur and a large enlargement can limit the result, even when the photograph looks good on a small screen.
Sizes and finishes
Is canvas or poster better for a wedding photo?
Canvas has a woven surface, visible depth and a finished stretched form. A poster has a smooth matte surface and is supplied unframed, ready for a suitable frame of your own. Choose canvas for its texture and physical presence, or poster for a framed-paper display. The photograph and your room are the best guide.
What size wedding photo print should I order?
Start with the wall space, the photograph's shape and the amount of detail in your file. A smaller print may suit a personal corner; a larger portrait can become a focal picture. For group photographs, consider how large each face will appear. Mark out the proposed dimensions on the wall and check the preview before ordering.
Will my wedding photo be cropped?
It may need cropping when the print shape differs from the original photograph. A square, a portrait rectangle and a wide rectangle can each show a different part of the image. Check faces, hands, the bouquet and dress details in the front preview before ordering. Canvas edge treatment is a separate choice from the front crop.
How do I keep faces and important details away from the canvas edges?
Choose a print shape that suits your photograph and position the important subjects comfortably on the front. Gallery wrap carries image content around the sides; Mirror sides use reflected edge content for the sides. Mirror sides still do not remove the need to check the front crop. Review the available side options for your selected size.
Can your studio help position a wedding photograph?
For a single-photo Canvas or Poster print, the creator offers a studio-positioning option. Use that option if you would like help with the final crop, and explain any detail that needs to stay visible. You can also contact us before ordering if the photograph is tightly cropped or you are uncertain about the size.
Can I order a wedding poster to fit a frame I already own?
Yes, within the single-photo poster creator's supported size limits. Measure the existing print, insert, glass/backboard or internal print space, rather than the frame's outside dimensions. If the frame has a mount, consider its opening and the overlap needed behind it. The image must also suit the visible crop.
Does my wedding print include a frame?
A canvas is stretched over its internal solid pine frame with finished sides. An outer decorative floating frame and hanging options are additional choices where offered. A poster is supplied unframed. The creator shows the available extras and updated price before you order.
Files and print quality
Can I choose a black-and-white wedding print?
The single-photo creator includes a Black & White option as well as the original colour photograph. Compare the preview before deciding. If your photographer supplied an edited monochrome version you prefer, upload that file so the print starts with their chosen treatment.
Does someone check my photograph before printing?
Yes. A real person considers the file, crop, orientation and selected size before production. If something looks unsuitable, we will get in touch. The check cannot restore missing detail in a very small or blurred file, so your best available original remains the strongest starting point.
Will the colours look exactly like my screen?
A screen emits light and a print reflects the light in your room, so they will not appear identical in every setting. Screen brightness can also make a file look lighter than it really is. Choose the original edited photograph you want printed and check it at sensible screen brightness.

How much do wedding canvas and poster prints cost?
Single-photo canvas prints start at £14.99 for A5, and posters at £5.99 for A5. The page's size table shows standard A-size prices. Optional canvas frames, hanging kits and other upgrades cost extra, and the creator shows the total for other supported sizes and choices.
Can I use 3 for 2 for wedding prints and thank-you gifts?
Yes, for qualifying physical Canvas and Poster prints. You can choose different photographs and mix eligible formats and sizes; the cheapest qualifying base print is free. Frames, hanging kits and applicable supplements remain chargeable. A free digital JPG is not a qualifying physical print.
When will my wedding print arrive?
Orders before 2pm Monday–Friday are normally dispatched the same working day when the file is ready for production. Most standard UK orders arrive the next working day after dispatch, but arrival is not guaranteed. Allow time before a gift occasion and check current delivery information for your address and working-day conditions.
More than one photograph
Can I combine several wedding photos on one canvas?
Yes. Use the separate collage creator to choose a layout, add your photographs and review the crop of each image. You can order that arrangement as one canvas or choose a poster. If you want three separate wall prints instead, create each individual photograph as its own print.
