Affordable canvas prints. Made properly.

Good materials, careful making and a clear price. Here is what you get when you order from us.

A collection of our finished family-photo canvases. This photograph shows five prints; it illustrates our work rather than a particular three-print offer.

Affordable canvas prints should still be something you are proud to put on your wall. We want you to enjoy the photograph and feel good about what you paid for it: a clear price, a canvas made with care and enough information to choose the right size and finish.

At Your Image 2 Canvas, we print, make the timber frames, stretch, check and pack your order in our West Yorkshire workshop. We've been making prints since 2007. Selling online and doing that production ourselves is how we work to offer competitive prices while keeping close control of the finished canvas.

Here is what goes into our prints, where the choices affect your total and how to make the most of your budget.

Wrapped sides and canvas texture, photographed on the worktop. This is a close view of actual prints, rather than a measured comparison of the two depth options.

You order from the people who make it

Your photograph comes to our team for printing. We are not a reseller passing the canvas production to another printing company. The printer, frame-making equipment and stretching benches are here, along with the people who use them.

That brings the work together. We can look at the photograph, understand a note about the crop, prepare its frame and inspect the finished canvas within our own production process. If an important face is close to an edge, that matters to the people making the print.

We also sell directly through our website. You choose the print you need and see the price for its size and finish. Our aim is to keep that straightforward, with care built into the making rather than a long list of compulsory additions.

The useful result for you is the finished product, the service and the complete price. You should be able to look at all three, understand what is included and choose a canvas you are happy to have in your home.

The materials are the starting point

We print on 230gsm poly-cotton canvas using our Epson SC-P20000 and genuine Epson inks. The print is stretched over a solid pine frame, with the sides and corners finished by hand.

Those specifications tell you what we use. They are only part of judging the result. Look at the photograph's detail, the surface, the way the image meets the edges and the construction supporting it. A fabric weight alone is not a complete quality score.

For a family photograph, look at faces and skin tones in the supplied image. For a pet, look at the eyes and the detail in its coat. For a landscape, consider the quieter tones as well as the brightest colour. Then look at the whole object: an even stretch, carefully folded corners and a frame that supports the print.

A real canvas photographed close enough to show the woven surface, wrapped side and finished corner. Open the original for a closer look.

The photographs on this page show our actual work, taken in the workshop under ordinary lighting. They let you see the surface, depth and making rather than rely on a small representation of a finished product. Light and viewing angle can change how a photograph looks, so look at more than one view.

Our canvas quality guide explains what to compare in more detail. We are happy to show you what we make because the finished canvas is what you are buying.

We make the frame inside your canvas

A stretched canvas already has a timber frame supporting it. We cut the pine to size, join the corners and build that frame in the workshop before stretching the print over it.

This internal frame is different from an optional floating frame around the outside. You can choose a straightforward stretched canvas without adding an outer decorative frame.

Solid pine stretcher frames before they are covered by canvas. The grain, mitres and joined corners are there to see.

For our Slim and Chunky options, the base print price is the same at the same size. Slim is 0.75 inches deep; Chunky is 1.75 inches. Depth changes how far the canvas projects from the wall, while the front dimensions remain the size you selected.

Choose the appearance you prefer. A deeper side can give a print more presence; a slimmer profile can suit a quieter arrangement. An optional floating frame adds a different finish and costs extra. The creator shows the available options and total.

A clear starting price, with the size attached

Our canvas prints start at £14.99 for A5. A starting price is useful when you know what it buys, so these are examples from our current stretched-canvas range, without an extra decorative outer frame.

A5 · 14.8 × 21 cm£14.99Slim or Chunky
A4 · 21 × 29.7 cm£19.99Slim or Chunky
A3 · 29.7 × 42 cm£27.99Slim or Chunky

16 × 16 inches£31.99Slim or Chunky

Prices checked 25 October 2026, including VAT and standard UK delivery. Floating frames, hanging kits and other optional extras cost more. Use the current price list and the creator's total when choosing your own print.

Measure the space before deciding. A small print can be right for a personal corner, while a larger wall may need a different size or a group. Buying the cheapest size only helps if it suits the photograph and the place you want to display it.

Three A4 canvases: the actual 3-for-2 total

Our offer can make a planned group of prints particularly good value. Here is one straightforward example using three qualifying A4 canvases, each with the £19.99 base price.

Example orderAmount
Three A4 base prints: 3 × £19.99£59.97
One qualifying A4 base print free−£19.99
Total for the three base prints£39.98

That example includes VAT and standard UK delivery, with Slim or Chunky at the same base price. It does not include floating frames, hanging kits or other upgrades. You can use different photographs for the three prints.

For a qualifying mix-and-match order, the lowest-priced eligible base print is free. If you mix sizes or finishes, check which base print receives the discount. Frames, hangers and other upgrades remain chargeable; an applicable oversized delivery supplement is not discounted. Free JPG downloads do not count towards the offer.

The discount is shown in the basket for your chosen items. Plan the pictures and sizes you actually want, then look at that total. Three separate prints can work as a matching row, or you might choose gifts for different people.

Spend on the right size and finish

When comparing delivered prices, match the actual front dimensions, orientation and finish. An A4 rectangle and a 12-inch square are different products. Compare a stretched canvas with the same kind of print, then add any outer frame or hanging accessories you want.

Check VAT, delivery and any size-related supplements alongside the print price. Look at the total for the complete order rather than assuming a headline starting price describes your chosen configuration. Our canvas cost guide covers that broader comparison.

Think about the photograph too. A shape that keeps everyone comfortably in view can be a better purchase than a larger crop that loses somebody at the edge. If you want us to position the photograph, use the studio option and explain the important people or details.

A note such as “please keep both faces fully on the front” gives us something useful to work with. If the chosen shape cannot accommodate the composition, we may need to discuss a different approach. Clear instructions help us understand the picture you want.

A good file helps your budget go further

The photograph controls the detail available to print. Use the original file where possible, rather than a screenshot or a small copy saved from a message. A bigger canvas spreads that detail over more space.

Careful printing and finishing cannot recover information that was never in the file. A smaller canvas may make better use of a limited photograph. Our photo quality guide explains what to inspect before you choose.

Check the front crop and sides together. A mirror side treatment does not automatically make a portrait fit a square. Leave space around important faces and details, and read the canvas edges guide if you are deciding between finishes.

Plan how the canvas will hang as well. An optional kit and the right fixing for your wall are part of a sensible complete purchase. Our canvas hanging guide helps you work through that choice.

Made here, checked here, packed here

We check the photograph before printing and inspect the canvas before it leaves us. The work continues after the image comes out of the printer: making the frame, stretching, finishing the corners and packing it for the journey.

The calm before the storm: the workbenches, tools and timber in our West Yorkshire workshop, as shown on our homepage.

Order and pay before 2pm, Monday–Friday, with the artwork ready for production, for same-working-day dispatch. Next-working-day delivery is expected, not guaranteed. Weekends, bank holidays, photo queries and destination exclusions can affect timing; check our delivery information when planning a gift.

You can see the production stages in how we make our canvas prints. It is the same workshop and the same approach whether you choose one small print or a group.

We are proud of the canvases we send out. Have a proper look at the finished examples on our canvas prints page, choose the size that suits your photograph, and start your canvas when you are ready.

Questions about price and value

How can you keep your canvas prices competitive?

We sell online and carry out the printing, frame building, stretching, checking and packing in our own West Yorkshire workshop. Customers order directly from the team making the canvas, with those production stages together in one place. That is the business we have built since 2007. You can judge the value from the actual print, service and complete delivered price.

Is the £14.99 canvas a finished print?

Yes. The starting price is for an A5 photograph printed on canvas and stretched over its internal solid pine frame, including VAT and standard UK delivery. Choose the size that suits your picture rather than treating A5 as the price for every canvas. A decorative floating frame, hanging kit or other optional extra costs more, and the creator shows your configured total.

Do Slim and Chunky canvases cost the same?

Yes, the Slim and Chunky base prints have the same price at the same size. Slim is 0.75 inches deep and Chunky is 1.75 inches. Both refer to the internal frame depth, rather than an extra decorative frame around the print. Choose the profile you prefer and review the available options for your selected size; optional floating frames and accessories are charged separately.

Can the three A4 prints in the £39.98 example use different photos?

Yes. The example uses three qualifying A4 base prints at £19.99 each, with one base print free. You can choose a different photograph for each. The £39.98 total includes VAT and standard UK delivery with no upgrades. If you add frames or hangers, or choose a different mix of products, use the basket's actual total for that order.

What is free when I mix different sizes in a 3-for-2 order?

The lowest-priced qualifying base print is free, so three different sizes will not necessarily receive the same discount as three A4 canvases. You can mix eligible physical prints, with the applied offer shown in the basket. Frames, hanging kits, other upgrades and applicable oversized delivery supplements remain chargeable. Free JPG downloads are not qualifying physical prints and do not count towards the offer.

Does 230gsm tell me everything about the canvas quality?

No. It describes the material's weight per square metre. Our canvas is 230gsm poly-cotton, but you should also look at the printed image, the surface, the stretch, the corners and the supporting frame. The original file matters too. A heavier material or a higher price by itself cannot tell you whether the photograph and finish will suit the result you want.

Should I choose a smaller canvas to save money?

Choose the size that works for the wall and the photograph. A smaller print can be excellent for a limited file or an intimate space. On a larger wall, it might need to be part of a group to look balanced. Measure the area, check the crop and consider the detail available in the source image before deciding where to spend your budget.

Does choosing studio positioning include restoration or a separate proof?

Studio positioning helps us place the photograph for the chosen canvas, taking your instructions into account. It is not a blanket promise of restoration, extensive retouching or a separate proof approval stage. If you need restoration or a separate proof, discuss it with us before ordering so we can agree the requirements. Positioning cannot restore missing detail or make every photograph fit every shape.
