Work back from the day you need it
A personalised canvas makes a thoughtful gift, but the date on your calendar needs a little more planning than the delivery service name alone can provide. Start with the day you want the present in your hands. You may need time to check it, wrap it or take it to a celebration before you give it to someone.
At YourImage2Canvas, orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day on our free UK 24-hour service. Most arrive the next working day, but arrival dates are estimates, not guarantees. If the occasion is fixed, leave extra time instead of relying on the earliest expected arrival.
Understand dispatch and delivery
Dispatch is when the order leaves us. Delivery is when the carrier brings it to the destination. A 24-hour service describes the delivery service used; it does not mean an order placed at any hour will be in your hands exactly 24 hours later.
The 2pm cutoff uses UK time. Orders placed after the cutoff move to the next working day for dispatch. Weekends and bank holidays affect the schedule, and some destinations or carrier disruption can add time. Check our current canvas delivery information before relying on a particular day.
Use working-day examples
In an ordinary week without a bank holiday, an order placed before 2pm on Tuesday is dispatched on Tuesday, with arrival generally expected on Wednesday. That is an estimate, so it is not a safe promise for a Wednesday-morning celebration.
An order placed before 2pm on Friday is dispatched on Friday, with arrival generally expected on Monday. An order placed after 2pm on Friday, or over the weekend, normally moves to Monday dispatch and Tuesday expected arrival. A bank holiday changes that working-day pattern.
These examples explain the timetable rather than guaranteeing a date. If you need the gift for a weekend, plan early enough to allow for a delay. For Highlands, islands or other remote destinations, check the destination guidance rather than assuming the same estimate applies everywhere.
Have the photograph ready before ordering
Choosing the picture can take longer than choosing the size. Find the original file, check that the main subject is sharp and look at how it fits the intended canvas shape. If a relative has the best copy, ask for it before leaving the order until the final afternoon.
Look closely at the preview. Make sure faces, names and other important details stay where you want them, including around the canvas edges. Rushing this step to catch a cutoff can leave you with a crop you would have changed if you had taken another minute.
Check the destination details
Read the recipient’s name, house number or name, street and postcode carefully before completing the order. If you are sending the gift to someone else, confirm that the address is current. Do not assume that changing an address after ordering will be possible once the parcel is moving.
If delivery timing is particularly important, contact us with the destination and the date you need it before placing the order. We can discuss the service information, but a conversation cannot turn an estimated carrier arrival into a guarantee.
Leave room for the final details
Allow time to receive and check the print before the occasion, especially if you will then be travelling with it. Keep any order and tracking information available so you can check the parcel’s progress where tracking is provided.
When you have a suitable photograph and enough time in hand, explore our canvas print options. Choose the picture first, check the dispatch schedule and leave a sensible margin before the gift is needed. That makes the preparation easier without depending on a delivery promise nobody should make.
