Well that time of year is upon us again; Halloween. Ghosts, ghouls, monsters and dressing up! The popularity of Halloween has grown in the UK immensely over the past few years, with more and more of us taking on the tradition of dressing up in scary costumes and celebrating this haunting time of year.

One of the most popular costumes for Halloween is “Dracula”. The character was created by Bram Stoker in his novel written in 1897. It’s known that the author stayed in the Royal Hotel on the western side of Whitby, North Yorkshire where the inspiration for the novel came.   The story of suspense and horror boasts one of the most terrifying character’s in literature; “Count Dracula” who’s passions prey upon the innocent, the helpless, and the beautiful.

The story of the Vampire has always been popular in the film and tv world with today seeing such films as;  Blade, From Dusk Till Dawn, True Blood, Van Helsing, The Lost Boys, Daybreakers, and this list goes on. With this being such a popular character for modern horror it is also one of the most popular costumes for any Halloween fancy dress party.

Thousands of us up and down the country will no doubt be dressing up this Halloween as our favourite scary character, and either parading our costumes out on the town or at an organised party.  Some people can put a real effort into their costumes and look amazing. Don’t forget to take your camera with you and capture everyone’s costumes in their glory.

Once you have all your mates in their costumes why not have the images transferred into a collage canvas print, displaying all those fantastic spooky efforts into a canvas print that will last a life time. Either download a programme by Google called Picasa and create the collage yourself, then upload the created file through their website and have the photos transferred into a stunning canvas print. Or send the photos into Yourimage2canvas and have them create a spooky collage memento of your Ghoulish Party.
