Using Canvas Prints To Improve Your Mood

Looking through the family album or visiting an art gallery is a great way to cheer yourself up, and this week we’re going to show you how using canvas prints can be a wonderful extension of that! Canvas is such a beautiful medium for showing off your work or favourite photos, that it’s perfect for improving your mood... and the mood of everyone else who sees them!

Canvas prints work anywhere

Canvas prints are so easy to hang and keep clean that they’re perfect for every room in the house or workspace, which gives you lots of scope for hanging mood enhancing images wherever you are.

Our Epson inks have a 75 year ‘no fading’ guarantee, so you can be sure that your canvases will last a lifetime – and that’s a lot of cheering up!

Choosing your images for canvas prints

It may seem obvious, but choose images that remind you of happy times when using canvas prints to improve your mood. Here are a few suggestions that we think might work:

Family – Going through your family album and finding some real gems is a great way to be reminded how much you love there is in your life. It’s such a boost seeing them smiling down at you from the wall – especially if you’re working away from home or spend a lot of time in the office. This is a guaranteed mood enhancer!

Happy memories – One of our favourite suggestions for our clients who are struggling to think of ideas for canvas prints is a photo collage. There are loads of great tutorials online if you need some help, and it’s really easy to collate some happy memories from your digital catalogue and create collages in Photoshop.

Inspiration – Maybe you’re working towards a goal? Having a large canvas of your end target on the wall you look at most often at work or home will motivate you and encourage you to keep going!

Colour – Interior designers have used colour to improve mood for decades, and you can learn their tricks too. Colourful abstract pieces of art – either self-created or found on stock photo sites – are sure to make a difference: blue is calming and serene, green reduces anxiety, and yellow is uplifting.

As you can see, there are loads of ways to make a difference to your living or work space by simply hanging something on your wall, so why don’t you give it a go and let us know if using canvas prints helped to improve your mood!
