MORE THAN A FILE ON YOUR PHONE

Make space for the moments that matter.

The favourite face. The view you still think about. The wedding photograph that says more than the posed one. A personalised canvas puts that photograph into the room, where it becomes part of everyday life.

Choose a small print for a personal corner, a square for a balanced arrangement, or a large photo canvas that gives one image the wall it deserves. You can use the same finish across several photographs or mix sizes to suit your space.

SIZES & CLEAR PRICES

A little moment. A bigger picture.

These prices are for your photograph printed and stretched on canvas. Choose Slim or Chunky at the same base price; a decorative floating frame and hanging kit are optional extras.

Canvas face dimensions. Rectangular sizes can be ordered in either orientation.

All seven examples include VAT and standard UK delivery, without a hanging kit or decorative frame. Size links open Slim canvas in landscape or square format; you can switch the depth and orientation in the builder.

A hanging kit is £1.25 for each size shown. Floating-frame prices depend on size. Larger custom canvases can carry an oversized delivery supplement; the builder displays the total before you order.

CHOOSE YOUR CANVAS DEPTH

A quieter edge. Or a stronger profile.

Both options are stretched over a solid pine frame. The depth changes how far the canvas projects from the wall; it does not change the size of the photograph on the front.

Two unframed dog photo canvases with a slim side and a deeper chunky side

Slim · 0.75 inches

A closer-to-the-wall finish for small spaces, personal photographs and groups of prints. It leaves the photograph in charge without adding much visual weight at the edge.

Chunky · 1.75 inches

A deeper side gives a single canvas more presence, especially when you see it from an angle. It can feel substantial on a larger wall while keeping the image completely unframed.

Choose the profile you prefer. Slim and Chunky share the same base price at the same size. Compare the canvas finishes.

YOUR PHOTOS, IN YOUR HOME

There is more than one way to make it personal.

The right print is the one that suits both the photograph and the room. These examples show different subjects, shapes and scales, from an intimate corner to a whole-room focal point.

The room scenes and product detail illustrations are AI-created visualisations for inspiration, not customer photographs. The solid pine photograph below is a genuine workshop-supplied image. Room scale is illustrative.

SMALL PHOTO CANVASES

Give a favourite face its own corner.

A small pet print does not need a huge blank wall. Place it where you pause: above a desk, beside a reading chair or on a narrow stretch of wall you see every day.

A4 is a useful starting point here. Leave a little wall around it so the image reads as a deliberate choice. If the original photograph is tightly cropped, check the face and ears stay comfortably on the front when you choose the wrap.

WEDDING & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS

A memory that belongs in the room.

Some photographs work because they bring you straight back to a moment. A wedding portrait, a family laugh or a quiet shared look can feel especially at home in a bedroom.

A portrait canvas helps a vertical photograph keep its shape. A2 gives it presence without needing a wall full of pictures. Choose a setting where you will enjoy looking at it, with enough space around the print for the people in the photograph to remain the focus.

SQUARE & BLACK-AND-WHITE CANVASES

Quiet photographs can have real presence.

Black and white draws attention to expression, connection and light. A square crop can give a couple’s portrait a calm, balanced shape, especially beside a chair or within a matched group.

Colour can be the better choice when the memory depends on a vivid sky, a particular outfit or the warmth of a place. The builder offers black-and-white and sepia options, so you can compare the feel before deciding.

Choose a 16-inch square canvas

LARGE & PANORAMIC CANVASES

Let one view open up the wall.

A broad landscape can carry colour and atmosphere across a dining room or above a sofa. Its horizontal shape naturally relates to the furniture below, making one photograph feel purposeful rather than lost on the wall.

Start with the available wall width, then look at the photograph’s shape. A panoramic crop works best when the scene has room to breathe across the width. For a portrait or a group with people near the edges, a conventional rectangle may preserve more of what matters.

3 FOR 2 ON QUALIFYING PRINTS

Three photographs. One story.

A family moment, the dog and a favourite holiday. Three separate canvases can connect different parts of your life without asking one photograph to do everything. Matching sizes and aligned top edges keep the display settled; a shared colour or mood helps the pictures sit together.

Choose three qualifying Canvas or Poster prints and the cheapest eligible base print is free. You can mix photographs and eligible sizes. Frames, hanging kits and any applicable delivery supplements remain chargeable.

Start an A3 canvas

Mix the sizes, keep the connection.

A larger family print can anchor the arrangement while a small pet portrait and a landscape add their own character. Keep the gaps intentional and choose the crop for each photograph individually; the three prints do not need to share a single format.

LOOK CLOSER

A photograph with texture.

Canvas gives a photograph a tactile surface and a side profile you can see from across the room. A careful wrap carries the picture around the edge, so an unframed print still feels complete.

For a face or detail close to the edge, mirror wrap can be a useful option. The mirrored edge uses content from the photograph for the sides, leaving the chosen front crop clear. Always check the front crop as well as the edge treatment.

Real solid pine stretcher bars showing the joined canvas frame corners and wood grain

THE REAL FRAME BEHIND THE PRINT

Solid pine. Properly made.

The real photograph beside this text shows the grain and joined corners of the solid pine stretcher frames we use. This is the structure behind a stretched canvas, distinct from the optional decorative frame around the outside.

We print on 230gsm poly-cotton canvas and stretch it by hand in our West Yorkshire workshop. A real person checks the photograph, crop and chosen size before production, then checks the finished print.

A beautiful result starts with a suitable file. Choose the original photograph where you can, then let the preview help you judge what stays on the front. If something looks unsuitable for the selected size, we’ll get in touch.

FINISH IT WITH A FLOATING FRAME

The same personal photograph. A more defined edge.

If you love the presence of canvas but want a wood outline around the print, choose the floating-frame option in the builder. A small gap separates the stretched canvas from the outer frame.

Black gives a strong photograph structure.

A dark frame sets a clear boundary around a monochrome portrait or dramatic subject. It can connect the picture to darker furniture, a doorway or other details in the room.

Coastal photograph in a natural wood floating canvas frame above a bed

Natural wood keeps the finish relaxed.

Bare wood brings warmth to a coastal photograph and sits comfortably with pale timber and linen. Choose the finish for the photograph and the room together, rather than matching every object exactly.

Black, White, Dark wood and Bare wood are available in the builder. The outer frame is an optional extra, priced by canvas size.

THE FRONT AND THE SIDES

Keep the important part in view.

Gallery wrap carries the photograph round the canvas sides, creating a continuous edge. Mirror wrap reflects the edge of the chosen front image onto the sides. Plain side colours offer a quieter boundary.

The shape of the canvas still determines the front crop. A portrait image will need a different crop on a square or wide rectangle. Check faces, hands and important details in the front preview, then choose from the edge options available for your selected size and finish.

YOUR PHOTO TO CANVAS, IN A FEW STEPS

Choose it. Make it yours.

You do not need a professional photo shoot. You need a photograph you love and a file that suits the size you choose.

  1. Choose your size and depth

Start small, go large or enter your own dimensions. Select Slim or Chunky canvas, or add the floating-frame finish. Your chosen options determine the displayed total.

  2. Upload and check the crop

Use your best available original. Position the photograph, review the front crop and choose the edges. You can also ask our studio to position it for you.

  3. Review your print and order

Check the size, finish and price. Add each canvas separately if you are creating a set, then review any 3-for-2 discount and optional extras in the basket.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Your photo canvas questions, answered.

Choosing your photo and size

Can I turn a phone photo into a canvas print?

Yes, provided the file is suitable for the size you choose. A phone photograph can work beautifully. Use the original file when possible, check the crop in the builder and consider a smaller canvas if the file has limited detail.

Which photographs work well on canvas?

Family portraits, pets, wedding photographs, travel views and landscapes can all work. Choose a photograph you enjoy looking at, with enough detail for the selected size and a shape that lets the important subject stay on the front.

How large can I print my photograph?

The answer depends on the file, the chosen crop and how closely you will view the print. There is no single pixel count that makes every photo suitable for every size. Upload your original and choose a size; our team checks suitability before printing.

Can I choose a square or panoramic photo canvas?

Yes. The range includes squares and panoramas as well as conventional rectangles and A sizes. Look at how the subject fits the new shape before ordering. A broad view often suits a panorama; a square can work well for a close portrait.

Can I order a custom-size canvas?

Yes, within the builder’s supported limits. Enter the width and height in your preferred units and review the calculated price. Large custom canvases may have an oversized delivery supplement, shown before ordering.

Can I print several photographs on one canvas?

Use the separate collage creator if you want several photographs combined into one print. For three separate canvases on the wall, create each print individually and choose the sizes and photographs for your display. See photo collage prints.

Depth, framing and edges

What is the difference between Slim and Chunky canvas?

Slim is 0.75 inches deep and Chunky is 1.75 inches deep. Chunky projects farther from the wall and has a stronger visible side. Both use a solid pine stretcher, and both have the same base price at the same canvas size.

Does a canvas print need an outer frame?

No. An unframed canvas is already stretched over its internal timber frame, with finished sides. A floating frame is an optional decorative wood frame around that canvas if you prefer a more defined outline.

Can I add a floating or box frame to my photo canvas?

Yes. Choose Floating frame in the canvas builder and select Black, White, Dark wood or Bare wood. The extra price depends on the size. Visit our floating-frame page for examples and complete framed prices. Explore floating-frame canvas prints.

Will the edge wrap take part of my photograph?

Gallery wrap carries image content around the sides. Mirror wrap provides mirrored edge content for the sides, but the front can still need cropping to match the canvas shape. Check both the front preview and edge option, especially when a face is close to the border.

Can you make my canvas black and white?

The builder includes black-and-white and sepia effects as well as the original colour photograph. Compare the result before ordering; colour may be part of what makes a memory special, while monochrome can bring expression and shape forward.

What is the canvas made from?

We use 230gsm poly-cotton canvas stretched over solid pine in our West Yorkshire workshop. The authentic material photograph on this page shows the timber stretcher corners. The decorative floating frame is a separate optional finish.

Prices, the offer and delivery

How much does a photo canvas cost?

Unframed photo canvases start at £14.99 for A5. A4 is £19.99, A3 £27.99, A2 £39.99 and A1 £59.99, including VAT and standard UK delivery. Slim and Chunky have the same base price. A decorative frame or hanging kit costs extra.

How does the 3-for-2 canvas offer work?

Choose three qualifying physical Canvas or Poster prints and the cheapest eligible base print is free. You can mix eligible sizes and photographs. Decorative frames, hanging kits and applicable delivery supplements remain chargeable. The basket shows the discount for your chosen items.

Can the three canvases have different photos and sizes?

Yes. Matching sizes make a tidy row, while mixed sizes can give a wall more character. Each qualifying print is created separately, so the photographs and eligible dimensions can differ. The cheapest eligible base print is the free one.

Is UK delivery included in the price?

Standard UK delivery is included in the displayed prices. Oversized delivery is £12 above 140cm or £30 above 190cm on the longest side; the higher charge replaces the lower one. Check the delivery information and the checkout total for any conditions that apply to your order or address.

When will my canvas be dispatched?

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, subject to having a suitable file ready for production. Orders after the cutoff or at the weekend move to the next working day. Most UK orders arrive the next working day after dispatch; arrival is not guaranteed.

Is a hanging kit included?

A hanging kit is optional. It costs £1.25 for the sizes shown on this page; a pair is £2.50 when the longest side exceeds 40 inches. Choose appropriate wall fixings for your wall and the finished print.

Before we print

Does someone check my photo before printing?

Yes. A real person checks the file, crop, orientation and chosen size before production. If something looks unsuitable, we’ll contact you. The check helps catch obvious issues; it does not mean every blurred or heavily compressed file can be restored.

Can your studio position the photo for me?

Yes. The builder lets you ask the studio to position the photograph, or you can control the crop yourself. If a specific detail must stay visible, make that clear when you order or contact the team before printing.

Will the printed colours match my screen exactly?

A screen emits light while a print reflects the light in your room, so they will not look identical in every setting. Screen brightness can also make a photograph appear lighter than the file. The team checks the image and makes sensible print adjustments where appropriate.

Where should I display my photo canvas?

Choose a dry indoor space where you will enjoy it: a living room, bedroom, hallway or office. Avoid direct prolonged sunlight, damp conditions and close exposure to heat or splashes. A clear stretch of wall and breathing room around the print help the photograph stand out.
